  • The Post Graduate Department of Journalism and Mass Communication offers Two Year MA program, M.Phil, and Ph.D on regular basis, and One Year PG Diploma in Kannada Journalism through Distance Education mode. Apart from a syllabus that spans across all theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline, the Department conducts special lectures, workshops and seminars inviting communication scholars and media experts to assure academic excellence. Internship with media organizations is an integral part of the program. Department publishes  'Sahyadri Times' a daily lab newspaper. A television studio is under construction.
