  • Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2000, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology industry in India and abroad. The Department has started MCA course in the year 2000 and M.Sc. Computer Science in 2003 with the aim to develop core competence in Computer Science and prepare the students to carry out development work, as well as take up challenges in research. Besides these the Department has strong research interests in Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and Data Mining of Computer Science and offers a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme aimed at producing quality researchers. The graduates have been doing very well in Research Labs, Industries, Multinational Companies in India. The department is committed to bring quality in all the academic programmes. The faculty members of the department are constantly upgrading their knowledge by attending various seminars/conferences, workshops and training programmes.
“To harness the precious human resources drawn from youth force for the academic and industrial development of the Nation through the pursuit of excellence in Computational Education”
    • Department of Computer Sciencce and MCA have four well equipped and smart class rooms, one seminar hall, three Computer laboratories with 80 numbers i7, 6th generation computers and one research laboratory.
    • Department has provided individual rooms for faculties. Department has its own library with 500 books collections.
