The department of P.G Studies and Research in Hindi was established in December 1993. The department has evolved a distinctive academic profile through innovative updating of the syllabus, materials design, audio-visual participatory teaching methods and its ambience of openness to new ideas and to social issues. Teaching and research work is the main objective of this department. Many Students of this department have already passed NET and SLET examinations. The department has installed two gold medals: one for highest marks secured in MA 4th Semester and one for over all highest percentage of both Previous and Final M A. There is a departmental library maintained by the department, with more than 500 books benefiting Students all through the year. Both research scholars and Students are make use of these books. The Department is regularly organizes Special lectures from various scholars on multiple topics. In Addition to it, the faculty of the department conduct training/coaching classes for NET/SLET examination for the students.
