As suggestted by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, the University has established an "Online Students Grievance Redressal Cell", to provide a mechanism for redressal of students' grievances and ensure the transparency in admission, and prevention of unfair practices, etc. For this, a Nodal Officer has been appointed to monitor and respond to students' grievances.

Students from Kuvempu University and its affiliated colleges can lodge complaints through "Online Students Grievance Redressal Portal" of UGC (website www.ugc.ac.in/grievance), New Delhi related to admission process, non-transparent or any unfair evaluation practices, provision of student amenities, alleged discrimination of students, etc. On receipt of complaints from aggrieved students Nodal Officer of Grievance Redressal Cell will monitor and respond to students grievances lodged on to its PORTAL.
